Beach Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The Beach Areas within Mission Bay and the Preserve are private property and not for public use. If there is a problem at one of the areas you can contact the police department and report it.
Motorized watercraft cannot be launched from either beach dock or shoreline.
The Mission Bay Beach area is for the enjoyment of Mission Bay Homeowners only.
Vehicles at this beach area must have an Owner vehicle hang tag visible when using the beach parking. Visitors should wear a bracelet identifying them as a guest of a Mission Bay Homeowner when using the beach or community center amenities.
The Mission Bay Preserve beach area and gravel trails are for Preserve Homeowners only.
Boats stored in the boathouse or gazebo area must first be registered and tagged through the HOA office. Any boats or watercraft stored in the boathouse or gazebo without appropriate tag may be moved without notice.
No motorized traffic – including golf carts (except when hauling items to the beach on the beach trail) – may be used on the gravel trails. Preserve owners may also use golf carts on beach trails for the purpose of launching kayaks and canoes at the beach.
Mission Bay and Mission Bay Preserve paved streets are open for all Mission Bay homeowners to enjoy walking. City regulations require dogs to be on a leash, whether on streets, vacant lots, or the golf course area.
There are four Dog-I-Pot stations installed in Mission Bay, and two in the Preserve. The Mission Bay stations are located at the beach, Eagle/Hawk intersection, Montana Landing and the Village trailhead. These have been provided for owners to dispose of their pet’s waste.
Thanks to all owners for using these on a regular basis!
