The new gate mechanisms have been installed and programmed. Most residents of the Preserve that are here presently have stopped by and have the new remotes and codes. All security and emergency personnel have access by codes as well as an emergency SOS system. The Police and Fire Chiefs in Polson have alerted their personnel, and Lake County dispatch also has codes for access, for ambulances, other emergency vehicles.
Please try your remotes and codes when you have a chance and report any issues with use. Each contractor (landscaper) has their own unique code. There is a new SOS emergency system attached to each gate for emergency vehicle use.
Remotes continue to be available for pickup – please stop in and pick yours up at the HOA office if you haven’t done so already. Open from 9-5 for pickup.
Please bring your old remotes and drop these off when picking up new ones.
PHONE NUMBER ACCESS AT GATES
There is a call pad at each gate for residents that would like to be listed – guests can access this and your number will be called when they are at the gate – you can ask them to use your unique code to allow access. Please check that phone number we have set for your guests to call you and access the gate to is the one you would like to use. There is a sheet to change this at the HOA office (or send an email with the number to the HOA office) if you have another phone number you prefer.
There are two new remotes set-up for each lot owner, at no charge, with additional remotes available for $50 each.
Please let the HOA office know if you would like the additional remotes, and how many – these may also be set up at any time later as your individual needs change.
Each remote has a unique code and will be set up similarly to the Community Center access cards. You will have your own access code in addition to the remotes. This allows us to turn an access code off in case of loss or theft of remotes. Unfortunately, as this system has security tied into each individual remote, it is not possible to program vehicles with the individual codes.
For owners that are out of town, we will hold on to your remotes until you are back – will have a package for each of you with the remotes and your name, so they may be picked up at any time.
Reminder – At the time new remotes are picked up, we will ask that the old remotes be returned to the office, as they will not work any longer. If you have construction or a special delivery company that needs access, please contact the HOA office and we will give them a separate code. UPS and Fed Ex already have codes.
